How to Share a 3D Property Tour With Buyers
Updated
Copy the share link of a room, or of a whole property tour, and send it anywhere: it opens in any web browser with no app and no login. For social media and listings, download the room's fly-through MP4 or the stitched video of the whole tour. On a phone, buyers watch the fly-through and can load the interactive 3D; on a desktop they can also walk through it with the keyboard and mouse.
Share a single room
Every finished room has its own share page. Open it from your dashboard with View 3D, or copy the link straight from the scene's card. The page has a Copy shareable link button and share buttons for Facebook, WhatsApp and X. On phones that support it, a Share button opens the phone's own share sheet. For Instagram, copy the link and paste it.
Share a whole property
Tap New tour, give the tour a title and an optional address, and record each room from its checklist. The list starts with Exterior, Living room, Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom, and you can add or remove rooms. A scene you already made can be added to a tour from your dashboard. Once at least one room is ready, tap Publish & copy link.
The tour page shows the title and address, a strip of room thumbnails and, for each room, the fly-through, the interactive 3D and the original recording. Inside the 3D view, pins lead to the next and previous room. Only finished rooms appear, so a room that is still processing, or that failed, never shows up as a broken page.
Use the MP4 for social media and listings
Each room's share page has a Download MP4 button for its fly-through. For the whole property, the Tour video panel in the tour builder stitches the rooms into one MP4 in the order you choose, with crossfades or hard cuts. The finished video can be downloaded from the tour builder and from the tour page.
A room's fly-through keeps the shape of your recording, so a landscape capture gives a landscape video. The stitched tour video is 1280 by 720 pixels, landscape. Neither has sound, so add music in your editing app if you want it.
What buyers see on a phone and on a desktop
Whenever a room has a fly-through, that is what buyers see first. It plays on its own, muted and looping, on any device.
- On a phone: the interactive 3D is a large download, so it loads only when the buyer asks for it, and the room's share page notes that it is best on a desktop or Wi-Fi. Buyers move with an on-screen arrow pad and drag to look around.
- On a desktop: buyers walk with the WASD or arrow keys, drag with the mouse to look, click waypoint dots to glide to filmed viewpoints, replay the recorded walkthrough or go fullscreen.
Listing portals and your own website
Add the share link wherever a listing accepts a link, and upload the MP4 wherever video files are accepted. Rules on outside links, and on branded links in particular, differ from portal to portal, so check each portal's current guidelines before you post.
Share pages ask search engines not to index them, so buyers reach them through your link, and they carry a title and a thumbnail for link previews. Embedding a room's fly-through on your own website is available on request: an admin enables it for each video.
Common questions
- Do buyers need an account or an app to view the tour?
- No. Share links open in any web browser, and the page itself says no login is required.
- Who can see a shared tour?
- Anyone who has the link. Share pages ask search engines not to list them, so people normally reach them through a link you send.
- Can I put a 3D tour on a listing portal?
- Usually as a link or as the MP4 video, depending on the portal. Each portal sets its own rules on outside and branded links, so check them before you post.
- Can I change the order of rooms in the tour video?
- Yes. In the tour builder, move rooms up or down, choose crossfade or hard cuts, and create the video again.
- Can I embed the tour on my own website?
- Embedding is available on request. An admin enables it for each video, and the embedded player shows that room's fly-through.
